For customers with Wednesday trash/recycling pick-up, your pickup day is today because of the Jan 1 holiday. Wednesday pickup will resume next week. Today is pick-up for co-mingled recycling.

Paper Recycling This is office paper, newspaper, magazines, soft back books all mixed together. In some residential recycling areas, we allow cardboard to be mixed in with this stream. This facilitates collection of one of the most produced recyclable products from a residence. All those Amazon boxes have to go somewhere.
The Mayor and Council hold a monthly town meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. These meetings are held in the big meeting room at 126 W. High St. and are always open to the public. Each meeting features a public comment period where individuals may address the Mayor and Council about town-related matters. Generally speaking, individual comments are limited to 5 minutes. The Mayor reserves the right to change this limit based on the nature of the commentary or to conduct the business of the Council.
